Thank you Chester for finding and posting that letter. Before the battle of Fallujah, it was easy to think that our military could win in Iraq just by the superiority in air power and weaponry. But the battle of Fallujah shows that we have the best fighting force because of the people we have. The scenes described here are reminiscent of what we saw on "Bands of brothers", and they certainly deserve the heroes salutation just as the World War II vets did.
