Sunday Admin Update

The Adventures of Chester has: 1. Deleted Haloscan comments after a trial period. 2. Shortened the leftward-most margin again. How is it now? 3. Added an Amazon Books Link in the sidebar. The banner will display books dealing with military affairs, but you can click on the search Amazon.com portion at the top to find any product Amazon offers. Every time you order a product using this link, The Adventures of Chester receives a small commission. This is one more way for you to support the content at this site. So feel free to do your Amazon Christmas shopping using the sidebar banner link. Furthermore, The Adventures of Chester is working on: 1. Better email efficiency. 2. A blogroll. 3. Enrollment in Milblogs, the premier ring of military affairs related blogs. We welcome your feedback. UPDATE: (9:08pm) All margins have been restored to their original spacing and width due to popular demand. Can you hear me now?

Question: what happened to all the daily traffic up and down the Euphrates valley on Highway 1 which arcs past Fallujah's East End? A detour? Was Highway 10 open from its intersection with 1 Eastward?

Off topic:
Your left margin continues to seem fine [actually seems slightly bigger now on Safari and OSX].

Your readers might find browsing easier if they try the FREE FireFox browser:
1) resize fonts with a keystroke
2) open links in convenient "tabs" while continuing to read
3) PC, Mac OSX, and Linux "i686" versions
4) Stable
5) Mother Tongues from Catalan thru Eengleesh to Slovenian
6) Open Source, stable
7) HIGH IMMUNITY FROM SPYWARE*
8) excellent free developer tools for HTML and CSS
9) Did I mention stable?

FireFox can be downloaded here:

http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/all.html

* Unlike IE, it lets you view multimedia securely. Setting IE Windows security to "High" disables a lot of the good with most of the bad.

I liked the original width. I press the spacebar to scroll down (Shift+spacebar to scroll up if you want to get fancy) I have IE don't know if spacebar works for other browsers.

I forgot to mention, your sidebar got squeezed like toothpaste to the bottom of the page.

Your page looks fine in Mozilla/Firefox, but your right sidebar disappears completely in IE. I had a similar problem with my own site, and know a hack that -might- work. Let me know if this is something you can't otherwise fix. (no_illusions -at- verizon -dot- net).

You have three to four inches of blank space on the right of your blog. Text covers ONLY the left 1/2 of the page. It is chopped off and UNREADABLE on the left. It is NOT my browser. The only blog (of about 30 that I read) that has a problem is yours.

You would be better off eliminating all changes and going back to when you started. Then the left side could be read. Now, it cannot be read at all on the left.

I'm seeing your postings fine. The margins are just right. Background color is good, too. I'm using IE and the right sidebar is at the bottom. Not a dealbraker for me though.

Keep up the good work.

Maybe your PC is infected with Malware. You can find out here: ad-adware.

Hey, you have a great blog here! I'm definitely going to bookmark you!

I have a traffic exchange system site. It pretty much covers traffic exchange system related stuff.

Come and check it out if you get time :-)
